Bangles have always symbolized grace and celebration in Indian culture, but at Taasha Craft, they stand for something deeper- empowerment and community pride. Rooted in a small coastal village in Gujarat, Taasha Craft has transformed local talent into a thriving village of bangle artisans, led largely by women.
The journey began with Anjali, Khushbu, and Antika, who refused to let their passion for art remain just a hobby. What began selling to friends and family and then that quickly exploded through Instagram. Today, they manage 140 local artisans, providing a steady livelihood to their village.
Stepping onto the Shark Tank India stage with an ask of ₹75 Lakhs for 5% equity, the founders showcased their incredible scale. Despite being from a small town, nearly 50% of their sales coming from major marketplaces. The Sharks were stunned by their operational discipline, holding weekly meetings to resolve disagreements and keeping 1,500 designs in 12 different sizes ready for 2–5-day delivery. Shark Kanika Tekriwal even noted that their journey is ‘motivation for all girls’ across India.
Reflecting on their mission, the founders shared, "Taasha Craft is proof that you don’t need a perfect background or a big-city start to build something meaningful. What began as a simple hobby during the lockdown from a village soon turned into a full-fledged brand loved across India. Pitching in Shark Tank India was a dream come true, especially showing how we manage 140 artisans and massive seasonal peaks.
