*Young Founders, Big Market: Inside Krvvy vs Invogue's face-off on Shark Tank India Season 5*
The upcoming episode of Shark Tank India Season 5 brings two shapewear brands, Krvvy and Invogue head-to-head. Both, pitching one shared ambition, to become India’s go-to women shape wear brand. One is a comfort-first, function-led challenger built by two young male founders while the other, a fast-scaling, influencer-backed brand chasing scale.
Krvvy, founded by college friends Yash Goyal and Anant Bhardwaj, enters the season seeking ₹1.2 crore for 2% equity. What began as a shared entrepreneurial itch has evolved into a D2C brand using biodegradable polyamide fabric blended with spandex, similar to known global giants. Challenging them is Invogue, founded by Maadhav Saxena and Ragini, who walk in with an ask of ₹50 lakh for 2.25% equity. Launched in 2023, Invogue was among the early movers in India when it came to shape wear, the brand has already invested heavily in branding, including actress Malaika Arora as their face.
Sharing their experience, Krvvy's founders said, "We realised that shape wear shouldn’t feel restrictive or be reserved only for special occasions. Through Shark Tank India Season 5, we want to take this belief to every corner of the country. Krvvy is designed as everyday inner wear, comfortable, functional, and confidence-boosting. With nearly 50% of our orders coming from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, we see a clear shift in the Indian consumer towards premium yet practical lingerie."
