BombayMami’s ‘Hot Boyz’ Sets the Summer Vibe with Indian Instruments & R&B Fire
Swiss/Indian cultural powerhouse BombayMami is back with her sizzling new single ‘HotBoyz’, releasing June 4th via MNRK.
‘Hot Boyz’ is a genre-blending, sensual summer anthem, which sees modern pop and R&B elevated by the rich textures of traditional Indian instruments (sitar, tabla, and sarod). The track was produced by acclaimed producer Tudor (Pa Salieu, CKay, Stefflon Don) and is a love letter to BombayMami’s friends in the LGBTQ+ community, in time for Pride Month.
BombayMami says, “`Hot Boyz’ is for the baddies who love options… masc, femme, soft, spicy… all flavours welcome. We want the real ones, and we want more than one. Miau”.
The latest single follows the viral success of her Fire in Delhi snowboarding campaign - which racked up over 6 million views and won praise from the likes of Maya Jama, Sid Sriram, Biig Piig, and Kojey Radical.
The release of ‘Hot Boyz’ coincides with her first ever live performance in India at Bud X NBA House in Mumbai, alongside a stacked lineup including Hanumankind, Parimal Shais & Kalmi among others.
Talking about the NBA India festival, BombayMami adds, “I’m incredibly excited and looking forward to my first performance in India at the Bud X NBA House 2025 Festival. I can’t wait to get there and perform my new single `Hot Boyz’ for all the baddies out there in Mumbai!”
Blurring borders and pushing boundaries, BombayMami is one of the most exciting new voices in music. With praise from tastemakers like BBC Introducing, BBC Asian Network, Vogue, Elle, Glamour and Trippin World, and with plenty more music in the pipeline, she’s only just getting started.
