Two blockbuster shows. One wildly entertaining crossover. When Shark Tank India Season 5 met Wheel of Fortune on Sony LIV, the boardroom brilliance gave way to big spins, and a whole lot of fun. The Sharks, known for their razor-sharp negotiations and big investments, swapped strategy for spin and this time, luck called the shots.
The episode was packed with quick wit, playful banter, and moments of unexpected drama. Adding to the fun, when asked about his motivation to be on the show, Anupam Mittal cheekily said he was there “to retrieve his money,” setting the stage for a hilarious roast by Akshay Kumar regarding millionaires bickering over pocket change.
The true highlight was the Shark vs. Saap tension. Just as pitchers fear the Sharks in the show, the Sharks themselves had to dodge the dreaded snake on the wheel an element capable of swallowing their progress in an instant. Namita Thapar, channeling "Tiger Zinda Hai" energy, used a surprise superpower to bypass the danger of the snake, dominating the game and earning the nickname "Nammo"
Sharing her excitement, Namita Thapar said, “We’re so used to evaluating pitches and making tough calls, but this time the wheel decided our fate! It was unpredictable, competitive and honestly, so much fun. I think we all discovered a different side of each other, and I quite like being called Nammo!”
