Founded in 2022 by Indrajeet Kumar and Swatiki Prakash, an Indian couple based in Oman, the venture began as a tribute to Indrajeet’s father’s lifelong love for art. While searching for premium relief décor they spotted a clear gap between rising demand for spiritual wall art, sparking the birth of Artociti. The duo entered season 5 with an ask of ₹1 crore for 7.5% equity, plus a 2% royalty until 1.5x is recouped. The Sharks were impressed by their niche positioning and their reach into smaller towns, making luxury-style murals accessible to the middle class.
