Sitaare Zameen Par is set to release on Sony LIV on 3rd April, offering audiences a heartfelt and engaging watch over the long weekend.
The film follows Gulshan Arora, a basketball coach whose life takes an unexpected turn after a drunk-driving incident leads to community service. Tasked with training a team of neurodivergent players for a basketball tournament, what begins as an obligation gradually evolves into a deeply personal journey. Along the way, Gulshan discovers the team’s resilience, spirit, and unique perspective on life, ultimately realizing that they become his greatest teachers.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna, the film stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, along with a talented ensemble cast. Produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, the film is written by Divy Nidhi Sharma.
