*25th January 2026, Mumbai:* Sony Entertainment Television’s Wheel of Fortune India brings together the thrill of chance and the power of words in a fast-paced game show that unfolds across four exciting rounds. Designed to test speed, strategy, intelligence, and sharp thinking, the four rounds in the show: Triple Toss-Up, Puzzle Round, Double Dhamaaka, and the Bonus Round, will keep the viewers on the edge of their seats. The Indian edition adds its own flavour with English, Hindi, and Hinglish word puzzles, blending bilingual wordplay and dramatic twists, making every round unpredictable and engaging.

Each game will have three contestants, competing against each other, and the host of the game is Akshay Kumar.

*Round 1: Triple Toss-Up*

The game begins with the Triple Toss-Up round where all three contestants compete simultaneously to solve word puzzles as quickly as possible. Letters appear automatically and on the screen board, one by one in random order, and the first contestant to buzz in with the correct answer wins cash amount for each of the three puzzles. The contestant who solves all three puzzles in the rounds get their entire cash doubled.

Speed is key in this opening round, as the contestant who accumulates the highest amount earns the advantage of spinning the wheel first in the main gameplay.

*Round 2: Puzzle Round*

The contestant who wins the Triple Toss-Up round earns the advantage of spinning the wheel first in the Puzzle Round. During this round, contestants may choose one of three actions: Spin, Buy, or Solve.

When choosing Spin, a contestant spins a wheel featuring 24 wedges with varying cash amounts. After the spin, they must call out a consonant. If the chosen letter appears in the puzzle, the contestant earns the amount landed on for each occurrence of that letter. However, the wheel also includes risky wedges such as Nagji, which can wipe out all earnings for the round, or Lose a Turn, which forfeits the player’s turn.

With the Buy option, contestants can purchase vowels A, E, I, O, or U for ₹20,000 each. At any point during their turn, players may choose to Solve the puzzle to lock in their winnings.

With prizes reaching up to ₹1 crore, every decision and every spin carries high stakes and excitement. Contestants with the highest cash prize amongst the three gets to spin first in the Double Dhamaaka round.

*Round 3: Double Dhamaaka*

The Double Dhamaaka round takes the excitement to the next level. Contestants play a similar puzzle qualifier round for Double Dhamaaka and the one who accumulates the highest cash prize amongst the three gets to play the Prize Puzzle round to win an exciting prize. This round is faster and more intense than the regular puzzle round.

The host reveals 3 categories for the contestant to choose from. Once the contestant has made their choice, the Prize Puzzle starts with the host providing five consonants, R, S, T, L, N and one vowel, E. If any of these letters are in the puzzle, they are revealed on the board. The contestant then selects three additional consonants and one vowel. Once these chosen letters are revealed, the contestant has 15 seconds to solve the puzzle and may make multiple attempts to guess the puzzle during this time. Successfully solving the puzzle wins the contestant an exciting prize.

All three contestants again play one last puzzle before the bonus round and the one contestant that accumulates the highest amount through all rounds plays the bonus round.

*Round 4: Bonus Round*

The game ends with the Final Round, where the contestant with the highest total winnings earns the chance to play. The finalist spins the bonus wheel, which contains 24 envelopes with prizes ranging from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹25 lakh or a brand-new car.

Before solving the final puzzle, the contestant chooses from several categories such as Place, Animal, or other themes. These categories may appear in Hindi, English, or a mix of both, reflecting India’s linguistic diversity and making the game relatable to a wide audience.

The puzzle rules are like the Prize Puzzle but more challenging. The finalist has 15 seconds to solve the puzzle. If successful, they win the prize inside the chosen envelope, ranging from ₹1.5 lakh to ₹25 lakh or a brand-new car, making this round the ultimate test of speed and clarity.
