Following the massive buzz around the grand launch of Border 2’s song ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ at Longewala-Tanot in Jaisalmer, singer Sonu Nigam brought the song’s emotional depth to Mumbai through a special performance dedicated to the Mumbai Police. The evening unfolded with a heartfelt musical tribute, beginning with warm interactions as police officials shared reflections on home, family, and achievements.
The Mumbai Police band set the mood with instrumental rendition of the song ‘Hindustan’ from Border 2, evoking pride, nostalgia, and quiet contemplation. Sonu Nigam then joined them on stage for the performance of ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’, the next song from the film, that resonated deeply with those who serve the city while spending long periods away from their own homes. The moment transformed into a special and powerful expression of gratitude, honouring sacrifice, resilience, and the unwavering spirit behind the uniform. Following the cultural and patriotic musical evening, the occassion also witnessed Sonu Nigam felicitate Mumbai police who concluded the event with a march past.
