*Successful Grand Finale of Global India Couture Week 2025 Spearheaded by Satyajit Mohanty*
The stage had been set, the lights were dazzling, and the fashion fraternity was abuzz as Global India Couture Week (GICW) returned with its grand 2025 edition. Known as the premier platform for creative dialogue, trade, and collaboration between regional and international brands and buyers, GICW once again celebrated design excellence from around the world while nurturing both emerging and established talent.
Under the dynamic leadership of Managing Director Satyajit Mohanty and Operational Director Dr. Sidharth Behera, GICW 2025 cemented its position as India’s first-ever platform to roll out the red carpet for international designers to showcase alongside the crème de la crème of Indian couture. This year’s edition redefined the fashion landscape, driving innovation while fusing avant-garde global aesthetics with the richness of Indian heritage.
Audiences witnessed bold statements, revolutionary designs, and dramatic showcases that pushed the boundaries of fashion.
Global India Couture Week 2025 concluded on its final day with an eclectic mix of designers and showstoppers. IIFT’s collection kicked off the day, followed by Harish Akkisetty’s bold creations. The JD Institute collection featured Vedant Mahiwar and Prakruti Mishra as showstoppers, while Sumit Goel dazzled with Nandani Gupta and Aaina Mehta. Fraganta presents Robert Naorem featured a stunning showcase with Birjit Singh and Anushree – Miss Supranational India 2025 as showstoppers. Sabyasachi Satpathy added his signature flair to the runway, and Narendra Kumar’s collection was highlighted by Mallika Singhania as the showstopper. The evening culminated in a grand finale by Varun Bahl, with Fatima Sana Shaikh creating magic as his showstopper.
The evening also witnessed the presence of Arshi khan, Rehan Shah, Rohit Verma, Shakir Shaikh, Ken Fern, Mananveer Singh & Many More.
